Wartime Spirit • Natural Strength 45.2% • 1945 Cognac • Limited to 24 bottles • Release date 31st October 2024 • RRP $1299

  • In the 1870s, founder Mederic Tiffon distilled his first eau de vie in Jarnac, France, establishing Cognac Tiffon in 1875, near other renowned Cognac houses like Bisquit and Courvoisier. Mederic perfected his craft until 1919, when his niece, Edith Rousseau, and her Norwegian husband, Sverre Braastad, took over the family business, then known as Establissements Tiffon. Today, Cognac Tiffon remains family-owned, managed by the fourth generation, who continue to harvest grapes, distill Cognac, and care for the maturing stock passed down through the decades, in the heart of Cognac.

  • Nose: Vibrant. Tropical fruits, guava, green mango, pineapple, feijoa and a burst of watermelon. Bubblegum and lemon tart.

Taste: Viscous. More tropical fruit, brazil nut, walnut, well integrated spice and oak.

Finish: Sweet citrus, sage and jam. Long length.
