A very well balanced and complex cognac, distilled in 1970 by fourth-generation master distiller Jean Michel Tribot and matured for 51 long years. With notes of sweet tropical fruits, an array of nuts, sage with a long lingering finish. Limited to 120 bottles.

Fourth-generation distiller, Jean Michel Tribot comes from a long line of viticulturists who have created eau de vie using a truly natural process since the 19th century.

Distilled by Jean Michel in a traditional pot still in 1970, this Grande Champagne Cognac has been slumbering in the tranquillity of an ancestral stonewalled for 51 long years prior to being bottled.

This cognac comes from the oldest stock in Maison Tribot’s ancient cellar.

Nose: Mango, pineapple, honeydew melon, walnut liqueur, hazelnuts and chestnut. Sage, thyme, menthol with a hint of cigar box.

Taste: Guava, green mango, underripe pineapple, black tea.

Finish: Sweet ginger spice, forest floor earthiness and warming.
